Ymddiried’s Contribution: £5,000
On 30th September 2025, Social Media Conference Cymru returned for its third year, welcoming nearly 400 marketing and social media professionals to Vale Resort near Cardiff. The one-day conference has grown significantly since its inception, starting with 280 attendees at Principality Stadium in 2023, and continuing to establish itself as Wales’ premier social media and marketing event.
Thanks to the generous support from Ymddiried, we were able to provide 25 fully funded tickets to students and recent graduates, ensuring emerging talent could access this valuable professional development opportunity. These funded places gave newcomers the chance to learn from industry experts, ask questions in Q&A sessions, and network with established professionals during breakfast, lunch and dedicated networking breaks.
The conference brought together marketing professionals, creatives and leaders from across Wales and beyond, creating an inclusive environment where attendees could arrive with curiosity and leave with actionable learnings. By supporting early-career access, Ymddiried helped nurture the next generation of Welsh media professionals, strengthening Wales’s creative industries sector and ensuring diverse voices can participate in shaping our digital landscape.
