Ymddiried Media Grants Cymru gave me the ability to pursue my passion: writing for the screen and stage. I used the grant to help fund my studies doing an MA in Playwriting & Screenwriting in St Andrews University. Studying in the U.K. can be near enough unaffordable and the grant allowed me to have a bit more breathing space with living costs which in turn gave me more of a chance to focus on my writing and my work. Thanks to Ymddiried I met lots of like minded creatives, and had a little extra to take trips into The Highlands and along the Scottish coast to do research for certain writing projects. I can’t thank the team enough for setting me on the trajectory to pursue my passions!
